Child Support
Tennessee's child support guidelines are just that — legal guidelines. Courts may order more support than the guidelines require, and they may also decrease support where there is a good reason. We carefully develop or review all child support proposals to ensure that they are in compliance with the Tennessee guidelines. We confirm that all relevant income is included in the calculation, such as self-employment income, seasonal income and commission-based income, as well as all necessary expenditures for the children, such as extracurricular and other activities.
